Also read the first three 'The Sandman' trades (working through the seventh; that's what my friend gave me) and I have to say that I was not impressed. It just didn't grab me and I'm finding it a real chore. Took me a week to get through one, when I read the entirety of 'Silence of the Lambs' from start to finish yesterday. 'The Sandman' = overrated.
