I forget sometimes just how much of modern X-Men continuity is down to Louise Simonson, whom history just seems to have forgotten.

'Bite Club: VCU' #2
Also read the first three 'The Sandman' trades (working through the seventh; that's what my friend gave me) and I have to say that I was not impressed. It just didn't grab me and I'm finding it a real chore. Took me a week to get through one, when I read the entirety of 'Silence of the Lambs' from start to finish yesterday. 'The Sandman' = overrated.

100 Bullets vol 1. Not bad but not my thing. I much prefer Sin City to most derivative stuff in the same vein
