Reading the second trade on a comedown is still the stupidest thing I've ever done. | Incognito should be refreshing then, looks like a straight split between Criminal and Sleeper.
Fuck me, that ships today. |

| Re: What comic did you last read? Aye, I'm really looking forward to it. I've still got the recently concluded volume of 'Criminal' to look forward to in trade as well. I haven't finished 'Sleeper' yet either. Fuck it, I'm going to go get a bar job tomorrow. Too much stuff I want to read. Especially as I can't read stuff on this laptop now the monitor is fucked. I haven't even read the last part of 'Secret Invasion' because of this, so I'm gonna pretend I didn't read that spoiler you posted above.

Though if you want a spoiler, you haven't read Bad Night and you think Criminal is depressing?
Seen nothing yet. |

I wonder if next door are using their computer.

Watching both Issue# 7 of The Goon (featuring Hellboy) and also both issues (2 of 2) of Ghost / Hellboy also.

| Re: What comic did you last read? Its a good yarn, and to my mind the only proper Hellboy crossover. The Goon one was a pisstake and I just assume that the entire idea of the character 'Ghost' is supposed to be a pisstake. |

That this series was cut short is nothing short of a travesty. Too Russian for US audiences, but they're stupid. |

| Re: What comic did you last read? Batman/Hellboy/Starman - Loved it. Proper wee story, nazis, bashing skulls. Good times. The only thing that makes it better is the awesome art work. Hellboy/Ghost - Not a pisstake. A nice wee story, again, great art. Glad I picked them up. Transformers: Megatron Origins - Awesome. But then I am biased. Love the story... Iron man: Director of Sheild - Been a while since I read anything from this series. Stands out as one of the best.

| Re: What comic did you last read? Glad you enjoyed HB/BM/SM. Its a wee classic.
Today I read Incognito #1
The wait is over. Ed Brubaker, Sean Philips: Tonally a straight cross between Sleeper and Criminal (Called it.) but has a charm all its own. The starkness and realism of the character still managed to surprise me. It even has a mad scientist.
I demand #2.
Now. |
