| Re: What comic did you last read? The new X-Men Forever series is going to excite me the more I read, I think. I'm glad Claremont is back, I just hope he doesn't screw it up. Thank fuck it's bi-weekly.
I can't help but love Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers as well. Frog Thor just makes me laugh. The whole thing reminds me somewhat of Labyrinth for some reason.

| Re: What comic did you last read? 'Pet Avengers' is pretty funny, yeah.
'Deadpool' just gets better and better with every issue. Tears!

| Re: What comic did you last read? I missed that start of Deadpool, so I need to stay with the trades, which suits me better to be fair. I can't wait to start reading.

Decent enough prequel to the new Salvation movie. Transformers Spotlight: Jazz
Nice little story, good to see the Predacons get some more pages.

| Re: What comic did you last read? all marvel titles this week Dark Reign: Sinister spiderman, great way to end the first issue and also chris bachalos art wort doesnt need 3 goings over to decipher it. Dark Reign: Zodiac great introduction to the mini series (even if the character does remind me of the dr from nightbreed) having a 80/20 love/hate with the artwork tho. Dark Reign: Deadpool issue 11 and still making me laugh out loud MEAT SUIT Cable 15/ x-force 16 last 2 issues of the messiah war crossover, good stuff

| Re: What comic did you last read? Couldn't be fucked with Messiah War, best bits were time-jumping Cable being a terrible father. Beyond that: Ooh, its Stryfe and Apocalypse again, do either of them even have a plan this time? No, no, its just a fight.
Chris Bachalo should've been the regular artist on Spiderman years ago. As surely as Sam Keith was born to draw Wolverine.
I just finished THE DEAD, an utter starf**king gem of a work. Written by Pete Milligan, and illustrated by the late great Massimo Bellardinelli (His last work for 2000AD I think) it is some of the inventive storytelling to grace British comics.

Good comics. |
