| Re: Crowbar- Clydebank Alright chaps...
I'm putting on gigs every Thursday (and Saturday from now on) in the place and there's an open mic night on a Sunday where I can be found singing Slayer and Primus in a lounge style!
The sound sill improve when they increase the stage size, pack out the rises and stick a curtain on the stone wall (the vocals just bounce of the wall back into the mic making it quite difficult to stop it feeding)
This Thursday we have...
17 Past The Instructions and Soul Mover
17 have played for a while and are friends of mine so represent! and Soul Mover are Zepellin Tastic and are playing an extra long hour set, fuck yes!
Hope top see you guys down there, and i'll keep you updated on gigs that happen.

| Re: Crowbar- Clydebank I was dissapointed as fuck in it, everyone made it out to be some sort of Godly drinking fountain, whereas it's not exactly cheap, the bands are shite and the decor is fucking horrible.

| Re: Crowbar- Clydebank I've been choking to check it out for a wee while now, but nocunt else ever really seems up for going to it with me! I have no idea why I want to go right enough, not like I've heard that they have pure amazing lemonade and orange juice or anything. I heard it kinda leans more towards the mainstream / indie definition of "rock" than the one in Town, which is fair enough since it's Clydebank. |

| Re: Crowbar- Clydebank Ha, don't worry mate, i'm a dick on this as well
Aye, Lev, there's and open mic tonight, go down and play biohazard.
They've told the bar staff not to play metal, but thats ridiculous so I tend to try and whack on Machine Head, LOG and SYL when i'm at the mix area, although, their generally not too happy about it |

| Re: Crowbar- Clydebank Well, i think we should organise a wee forum pubbery for all those in the region of Clydebank - cause from what i can gauge, its the nearest pub to Helensburgh - other than the Clyde bar in Helensburgh, that would be like being in town.
SO, should we organise a random night? A fair few folk are from in and around Clydebank/Knightswood and such are on here, no?

George, does Gary actually take over/"host" the open mic night on Sundays, or does he just try to hog the stage like fuck, as much as he can..he's in most of the pictures taken of it!
Couldn't believe how empty, cold, and shite it was that Saturday we went in, briefly!
I'll make it to one of your nights though, once I've more time
