I haven't used that word since I first started listening to Cubanate back in 2000 or so, because I didn't know how to describe them. It never really caught on...

Anyway, on that note, if you're still doing requests on these nights then I would humbly ask you invoke feelings of fond nostalgia in me by playing some of their finer works? ^_^

Sounds good, I shall endeavour to attend one of those nights. Been too long since I went to an Industrial night.

Outta interest, do any of these Industrial nights make a profit? Was curious due to the rather volatile nature of them here in Edinburgh and several defunct ones.

I'm working this friday night and in saturday morning so a sober night shall be made of it, but then at least i'll remember the first night you guys do

Depends on what you call a profit. Effigy and myself tend to spend any profit we get on getting bands/dj's over.

Like Tailz says, profit's a subjective thing.

Cathouse pays us to do Cryotec, so we've no outlay with that, but pretty much everything we make goes back into putting bands on.

When we run stuff in other venues we cover all the costs ourselves, which obviously makes it harder to make any money. Anything we make from Asylum will again go into putting on bands for you lovely people
