| Plans afoot . . .
Hey Blondie, just wondering how much drinks are usually in the Solid West, so's I can calculate the amount of booze I need to sink before leaving the house, in proportion to how much I can afford to sink at the bar.
Oh, and check out the irony of this - I decide to phone in sick for tonight on Wednesday, and come today, my nose is streaming and my throat's shagged ( not literally for once ). That always happens - boy cried wolf. Think I've got hayfever. Oh well, should get me drunker, quicker - from tonight I don't plan to surface til Sunday, so I'll get well then. |

| well, the promos are usually quite good at the solid west, happy hour lasts till 9pm, which is a bonus. Normal prices I reckon, £2 for a JD and coke, £2 vodka and red bull, aye, about that, plus they have jugs of cocktails for £7-99, which aint bad and guaranteed to get you drunk  | |

. . . ain't a good enough excuse for my bosses, it seems. Bah.
This means I won't make it out til between 10 and 11. Which is probably a good thing; otherwise I'd probably get way too wasted way too quickly.

Got there nice and early, couple games o pool, then on with the serious drinking. I was so unbelieveably tired by the end, but did the catty anyway. Glad I did, but I shoulda left there at 2 not 3, I was practically dead on my poor booted feet. Good to see everyone out again, the days when cryotec was populated by just me, richard and emma seem so long ago now =)
