Cryotec - End Of Phase 1

Another Friday night, and probably one of the best ones we've had for a good while. Unfortunately, it also turned out to be the last Cryotec for the near future, as we were told on arrival that, due to changes in ownership/management, Solid West no longer wants to operate club nights. Ahhh well, their loss

As for the reasons why, well, they're not too clear as the bossman didn't have the guts to tell us himself, instead getting the bar manager to pass on the good news. Kinda sucked especially as he's been really supportive of us since day 1. Apparently though, something along the lines of "I didn't pay for a computer jukebox and a pool table just to have the regulars scared off by specialist nights!" was said. Tosser

So, Cryotec takes a (hopefully) short break for now while we sort out a new venue. I'll let everyone know when we're back up and running. Til then, just want to say thanks to everyone for the support over the last 8 months, hope you've all had as much fun as we have running it. Cheers guys

I have to say, I would have loved to have been there - disappointed that there will be no more nights at the solid west - lets boycott it for making such baaaaad management decisions!

Right, thats better. I'll be waiting anxiously on news of a new venue, and also kicking myself for not being able to come along to the last couple due to exam type obligations. If Tailz and Effigy ever get a guest spot at NF, I'll be there front center to wave glowsticks and gibber like a child in a toy store =)
