I'm not going to flame you Shazza but speaking to peeps on the night and today all had a stupendous night

I'm hoping it's just a personal thing here and know that you are good friends with the Cryotec boys.

The venue reminded me of Slimelight in London and I thought it was fab....a great big progressive step from where Cryotec was before...

Last night was seriously party cantral! & Gordon & Liam looked superb up there directing the floor

at least you didnt get overly wasted on other peoples kind offers of drink, start talking hunners of shite to people you hardly know (tell them they look like sting etc), then feel really ill and decide to leave at 2am yourself and run over the clydeside expressway, falling over the crash barrier in the middle to find that the pavement on the other side was fenced off, then push the entire fence over in a drunken rage and climb over it, then go climbing over some walls to get into the carpark of hollywood bowl so you could walk over to the bus stop, then get on the bus and start shouting at some ginger skank to shut up coz she was singing the way to amarillo at the top of her lungs, then wake up the next morning with a huge bruise on your leg and lots of paint stains on your jacket - Like I did.

Good night then.

Thumbs up Re: CRYOTEC @ THE SOUNDHAUS - Friday 25th March

shame about your disappointments sharon but I just have to say again on how my expectations were exceeded. going from that little dinky claustrophobic pub basement to this was bril. ... it just suited the whole industrial style perfectly...

as for the uneven floor: I was slightly drunk and danced like F**CK but still didn't mind...
as for the (illegal) drugs: JUST SAY NO FCOL! who needs them anyway on nights like this!??!
as for the bar staff: who cares when you have so many fabulous and nice peeps around you...
and as for getting there and back: cab drivers had no probs taking and finding me there so what else should I asked for (just glad I didn't have to climb fences and that like the Mango! ha ha! )

anyway, in summary again:
fabulous job Liam and Gordon! and:
WHEN IS THE NEXT CROTEC ON!!!?!?!?!?!??!? I WANNA DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS: oh and I do fully agree with scarycrows "alternative to bedlam" and zulu's "party central etc." comments! jawohl! you are soooo right.... hi hi..

Re: CRYOTEC @ THE SOUNDHAUS - Friday 25th March

Well done Liam and Gordon for pulling off such a great night. I know how difficult it can be to get a venue and to have them deliver what they say they will. Hopefully any minor points about the bar not stocking what people drink can be remedied. The sound was fantastic and a great selection of tunes.

£300 to hire the venue though seems pretty scary, but well done for taking the risk. Cryotec has come of age.

hey fabuleux... I should really say the same about uni but... ohps!

anyway, I know that Liam had his camera with him and there was some picture taking during the night so am assuming that we will see the damage on the cryotec page once Liam and Gordon have recovered....
BEWARE!

Re: CRYOTEC @ THE SOUNDHAUS - Friday 25th March

I've finally woken up (kinda!) after the weekend, so just wanted to post a HUUUUUUUGE thanx to everyone for coming along on Friday All the feedback is well appreciated and hopefully we can sort some of the points (like bar stock) in the near future. Comments from the staff at the end of the night were very positive, so hopefully that'll help in sorting out more dates. Fingers crossed everyone
I'll post the setlist later today.

Re: CRYOTEC @ THE SOUNDHAUS - Friday 25th March

OK, given the direction of this thread, and for obvious reasons, I need to put up the following statement;

Cryotec and The Soundhaus in no way condone or encourage the use of drugs at the venue on this or any other club night. Anyone caught with illegal substances risks eviction and permanent ban etc etc.

Sorry for sounding like an old git, but promoters responsibility and all that stuff.
