| Re: The Orange Walk Orangeman have lodges of their own. And thats a something after many years of Orangeman & Freemasonary not getting on when the OO started out.
They all stem from the same views of being a good man, upholding the law of your country, etc. They work together with charity work if i'm not mistaken.

| Re: The Orange Walk I could be a Freemason but I couldn't be an Orangeman - Freemason's have no links to religion and they aren't involved in orange marches. |

| Re: The Orange Walk The orange marches are totally retarded. What other group of people actually celebrate a battle in such a way? Other war related days of note are commemorated in a respectful way and used as a time to reflect on those who were lost, on the 12th all you get are a bunch of arseholes celebrating the fact that hundreds of years ago a lot of people died. Its as daft as marching for the Irish Confederate Wars or the Irish Rebellion.
Nobody benefits in any way at all from the 12th. |

| Re: The Orange Walk having been raised in ireland.... i pretty much cant stand it but i think its more an inherited dislike than a personal one. i dont really give a fuck as long as it doesnt disrupt the shit that im doing or gets violent (as is what usually happend in ireland) cant say that since ive moved over here its bothered me that much |

Unless what you meant was that they arent openly linked to any particular church? Ayway, from my experience, the freemasons as a whole have no major beef with catholics, unlike Orange Lodges.
Cheers!

| Re: The Orange Walk Prof. Tom Devine stated in one of his essays that there is a significant overlap in membership between the masonic lodge and orange lodge in Scotland. Read into that what you will. It's like folk here going to the Cathouse: many do, but not everyone who uses AN goes, and not everyone who goes uses AN.

I'm, baffled. | From memory you have to recognise the divine creator (or whatever they call it) and they openly accept that you could be of any religion that would allow this and be in the freemasons. If you dont believe in a god then your not supposed to be let in. |
