| Re: The Orange Walk Ah HIYA SKAPEGOAT!!! Miss my first post? I don't actually give a fuck about some arses off a forum moaning about it and not actually doing anything. Fine by me ban the Orange marches but then ban the Repulican marches, Anti War marches, anti Terrorist marches, ban all fucking marches.
And again and again and again, if anyone knows people in the Orange, they'd know they try their most with the police and council to try and stop the SKAPEGOAT ARCH ENEMY following along and remove anything which the police view as sectarian.
I think it's funny how half of the folk on here who don't condone violence but would rather see a part of the Christian faith "burn".
Oh aye, how can folk walk around in what supposedly is a Terrorist t-shirt, glorifying Bobby Sands infront of the police, if the police are trying to stamp out on "Sectarianism"?

I'll hold my hands up and say I don't know much about them other than they are very intimidating, inconvenient, and don't seem to have any message behind them other than "HI, WE ARE HERE!"
What do they symbolise, is it a protest?
Normally, at marches or a protest there's no mistaking what they are about.
Please, fill me in, cause I'm genuinely interested.

And, as is pointed out every time you try to defend the marches, almost everyone here who hates the orange walk hates all marches that have no actual point save intimidating people.
And as for the marches stopping the hangers on?
Yer arse they do.
Maybe they'll make a wee show of removing anyone obviously and loudly behaving badly, but I've walked through the crowd beside Orange walks many a time, and it's been filled with seething growling morons in football strips, with bad tattoos and ( yes ) Buckfast bottles getting downed then usually dropped straight to the pavement unless they're required for later armament.
We don't want marchers to burn - We just want them to fuck off out our way, and sing their wee songs somewhere private where they're not going to bother the rest of us.
Tell me again why marches like this couldn't happen in some sort of hired venue or sports stadium? |

Then all marches have fuck all reason like online petitions.
The police usually have to deal with the hangers on so go to the police if you have a complaint, and that goes to the council. Ask the council why the Walks don't go to a venue. The Council permit the Walks to go on, then it's confirmed by police if they think it's a route which won't cause any distubance like say for instance a Chapel giving away biscuits.
