i got called by my mum from holiday and one of the things that came up was that she had been told that the priest at the church she goes to had left. she didnt know why and was doing all the " i hope hes not ill or anything" thing. this morning my best mate called me up saying "you know that church across the road from your house? yeah the priest got arrested . its in all the papers. he was found with his pants down surrounded by sex toys or something haha"

so i looked it up just there

To be entirely fair, they're only allegations at this point and from what I'm reading there he's not been charged with anything yet.

public pressure, pressure from the church (since this is a fucking hot potato for them), fears for his safety, fears for his family and/or parishoners safety, maintaining a certain amount of discretion, yadda yadda yadda.

From what I can gather, its not like he was fiddling with children or anything either, just allegedly happened to get caught having a bit of an exotic five knuckle shuffle. So whats the big fucking deal?

Shes quite obviously had a bit of a shock, common sense often doesnt prevail when that happens.

IF the guy's done it I don't think a priest having a wank's frowned upon, unless he's letting his sploodge fly over an altar boy's face, but it's because he's been doing it in a house of god.

Religion's stupid. If the guy was doing this in his flat he'd be cool as fuck.

Fair point, but the article does say that there was noone else involved in the incident, which implies either a wanking sesh or something with an animal or random inanimate object. None of which, in my opinion, are just cause cause to ruin a mans life.
