She was eventually put on the pill, which might be preferable to undergoing surgery but if you're looking to stop someone's periods for these reasons then I can imagine good arguments for the surgery. It doesn't fuck with your hormones day in, day out like the pill, it's a one-shot solution and, once the operation is over, there're no potential side-effects to worry about. | A few girls in work were putting forward the same argument. I didn't care either way altho' I was more in the no to surgery camp but being swayed a bit myself. |
