I think they've got it the wrong way round: why not ban stupid, annoying, snotty little kids instead? Especially the ones who wear their caps backwards and have equally stupid parents. In fact, I think more kids should choke on pen lids, irritating bastards that they are.

I think its more a case of the parents wanting to do anything that they can to bring their kid back, and they cant. If i felt so strongly about my dad's death, i would be fighting for a ban on alcohol - but it was over a long period of time and self inflicted.
If the kid died from anything else - say for example, erm....i dunno.....playing with a stapelar and stapling his ears to his head or something equally as stupid, then they would look to ban them. But its not going to bring their kid back, someone needs to tell them this.

The actual pen incident, post op complications, one of these new fangled superbugs or did some one take it upon them selves to do a spot of ethnic cleansing deeming the kid to dumb to contribute to the gene pool? Curious.
