looks like someone did already 
i'm not a huge fan, but it doesn't seem like the biggest ever issue to me, i'm sure it was an honest mistake and that she concentrates more on more important issues.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse and all that jazz.
Particularly when you could be forgiven for labouring under the assumption that the more important issues are being put to one side to allow the oppossiton (in time honoured tradition) to blame the party in power for everything (and suddenly finding things unimportant enough to ignore when they were in power to highlight.)

I've never been a fan of Wendy Alexander. From the days that she got a job because Donald Dewar was in her corner to only taking a post at Strathclyde uni because the consultancy work wasn't as hot as she thought she's struck me as the classic 'I am in politics for a career stepping stone' thinking that distinguished new labour from classic labour.
If she quits and Scots labour move on to their 5th or perhaps 6th choice of leader since devolution they'll really be in the shit.
