teenage jogger raped in village
i dont know if anyone would have noticed this story last week (meant to post it sooner) but it happened just up the road from me. by just up the road i mean about a 3 minute walk. its a bit scary because between the village of banton (10 minute walk away) and my house its just fields and bushes on either side of the road, except for half way up there is the church. i know no-one is fussed really, but its a bit scary when these things happen on your doorstep. particularly when your doorstep is a sleepy wee village which boasts old people, a post box and a pub

turns out someone had been arrested. a 31 year old guy. i dont think its someone from around here, both banton and kelvinhead, where i stay are teeny. im pretty sure everyone who has lived here for any length of time knows everyones face. when we moved in we caused a slight stir coz we were new. even got flowers from the church to welcome us.
