Re: Vote 2008 - The Caucuses

Huckabee's win was engineered by the McCain people though to crush Romney's apparent lead, or so Romney's people are claiming...

Huckabee is a madman.
Thankfully he hasn't a chance or I'd move to the bottom of the pacific ocean.

The worrying thing is that beside Ron Paul and John 'I Support The Surge' McCain, he looks pretty sane...

I'm told his book on dieting is very good as well.

Also, interesting fact, he plays bass in a band called Capitol Offense.

Re: Vote 2008 - The Caucuses

According to CNN exit polls show 47% Obama, 46% Clinton. That's a national average though.

Re: Vote 2008 - The Caucuses

CNN have a good site that's getting minute by minute updates and has a country analysis of the votes: http://us.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/prim...ates/#20080205

Wired also has a good list of media coverage of Super Tuesday: http://blog.wired.com/27bstroke6/200...tuesday-a.html

If your going from the CNN page, the ticks are only projected results. It'll be a few hours before all the counties and precincts are declared and we know for sure.

Re: Vote 2008 - The Caucuses

Looks like things have come out with Obama and Clinton neck and neck as far as state delegates goes - Hilary's only advantage is the number of super delegates that have declared for her already.

As for McCain, I think he has too much momentum now - although Romney may still have a chance.

By continuing on in the race for the nomination it's pretty clear that Mike Huckabee has helped McCain by splitting the conservative republican votes with Romney.

I wouldn't be surprised if McCain has cut a deal with Huckabee with a place as his VP nominee or a major cabinet position, knowing fine well that if he continued on in the nomination process that he'd almost ensure McCain got the lead.
