| Re: Vote 2008 - The Caucuses Looks like Obama has taken Maine as well - that is a bit of a setback for Clinton, who now has a new campaign manager.

| Re: Vote 2008 - The Caucuses Looks like Obama is really picking up pace with his campaign. Quote:
Barack Obama has extended his winning run in the Democratic race for the White House with victories in two more primary elections.
The Illinois senator was projected to win in Virginia and Washington DC.
Voting in Maryland was extended by 90 minutes because of traffic problems caused by bad weather.
The results will mean Mr Obama has won in seven successive contests against rival Hillary Clinton, in every vote held since Super Tuesday on February 5.
Exit polls in Virginia indicated that Mr Obama split white voters with the former First Lady but beat her 9-1 among black voters.
Mr Obama extended his winning streak after wins at the weekend in Maine, Louisiana, Nebraska, Washington and the Virgin Islands.
Mrs Clinton has already moved on to campaign in Texas, which votes on March 4.
The Republican primary in Virginia is currently too close to call between John McCain and Mike Huckabee.

| Re: Vote 2008 - The Caucuses Well yeah I can't argue with you there. I'd rather Obama than Clinton, but I'd rather Clinton than any of the Republicans.

| Re: Vote 2008 - The Caucuses Obama extends lead over Clinton
Obama has taken Wisconsin and Hawaii, meaning it's 10 states in a row, i.e. the 10 thus far after Super Tuesday's deadlock. Ohio and Texas are now critical for Clinton, if Obama gets both her campaign could be in a bit of trouble.
