Bush urges Israeli occupation end
My word, it appears Bush has decided to start following the near mythical "roadmap" to peace in the middle east (well apart from the diversion via the destablisation of the region by invading Iraq and an increasingly lukewarm cold war effort with Iran.)

Do you think world leaders have some kind of sweep going for whoever manages to broker peace in the Middle East or is it just that Bush is really running out of ideas and is just coping Tony Blair and Bill Clinton now?

I hope they have enlisted John McCrick to run it and he is now on airforce onedoing whatever it is he does at racetracks with the arm wavey thing.

I think in the case of Britain it could be argued theres a historical reason for the interest in the region and addressing some of the imperial fuck ups. Which is also probably why the US is now involved. Also if a US president ever did broker peace between Israel and Palestine it could free up a lot of vetos at the UN...
