Two of the guys involved with this have been jailed for life for murder and must serve at least 18 and 16 years of the sentence before parole. Another three guys have been jailed as well.

Didn't read the whole thread. If the attack was unprovoked and genuinely because of the way she looked, then its fucking horrendous.

If not, it wouldn't be the first time a goth has provoked someone who blatantly shouldn't be provoked and it's went awry. I'm from Glasgow and I bet most of you are, I'm sure we all know about shutting the fuck up and walking away when we have to.

The attackers did not know the couple, who were both Goths, and the only motive was they simply looked different, the court heard.

The judge described the Goth community as "perfectly peaceful law-abiding people who pose no threat to anybody".
"This was a hate crime against these completely harmless people targeted because their appearance was different to yours."

Really is shocking stuff. It's great to hear justice is served though
