I'll still be interested to give them a look over - both sides even saves me buggering about on athens and the like huzzah! Quote:

This is turning out to be irritating. However, have this from the Lilith Report about lap dancing clubs and a rise in rape and sexual assault in their areas. Not one of my original sources but it's something, and it'll give you one reason often cited about the link between many forms of (not just violent) porn and violence: http://www.eaves4women.co.uk/Lilith_...viour_2007.pdf

| Re: Bill for "possession of violent and extreme pornography" to become law next week. When I finally get around to raping and killing someone I'm going to make sure the media reports that I obsessively watched Ben Affleck movies. See if we can get something rubbish banned for once.

| Re: Bill for "possession of violent and extreme pornography" to become law next week. Would this bill allow for the prosecution of directors/producers who make films that explore the realities of violent sexual behaviour, or use violent sexual behaviour as metaphor? Titilation is not the primary interest here, if it even is one at all. However, in light of previous tabloid-fuelled hysteria (Brass Eye, 'Video Nasties' etc) I could imagine many a censorship campaign riding on it's back, all facilitated by the bill seeming to suggest that the possible effects any work can have are as important as the verifiable ones.

Rather then the concrete structure of possible effects of course.
