Aye, thats right. I would never begrudge an MS sufferer from their weed, doctors are happy to prescribe stronger things for lesser ailments after all. In fact the only problem I really have with cannabis and drugs in general is the proportion of users who do nothing else with their lives. All things in moderation. People who actually hold down an honest job and generally display some degree of social responsibility can happily do whatever they like, if you ask me.
| and that proportion would be...

Drug-taking wasters generally include: Smackheads, alcoholics and anyone who goes to Burger King more than once a day.

Professionally speaking I do tend to come into contact with those types more often than most. For me I'm looking at easily 90%. I'm aware that this is likely not typical for other people in other fields of work though.

Its fair enough, I see causal links between my area being full of enthnic minorities and crime being rife. You have to look beyond the causal links though.

It's according to Jacqui Smith. Quote: |
Ms Smith said this now accounted for 80% of the cannabis seized on the streets and the drug was nearly three times stronger than in 1995.

It's according to Jacqui Smith. | I based my comment on the little box of 'facts' to the right of the story text. They appear to be the BBC's own.

| Re: Cannabis to be reclassified as a Class B drug. Ask someone who's in their early 20s (the prime stoner age) if weed is "stronger" than it was a few years back and the chances are they'll answer yes. That's failing to take into account that this is because they've swapped the bumped-up OXO cubes of their youth for decent grass.

(Although that said no one seems to be entirely sure how strength should be measured... and the figures never say how they were measured or provide historical comparisons... So really they might as well)

| Re: Cannabis to be reclassified as a Class B drug. It should be noted that Britain has the lowest quality of hash in Europe. As a direct result of its illegalisation, funnily enough. If it wasn't for the fact that its now cut with brick dust and glass instead of henna and cornflour they might've actually achieved something, if only by accident. Quote:
