It's not the 'blood on the hands' that annoys me, or is even an issue, just that Blair is more of a slippery cunt than Thatcher, Heseltine, Ingram or any of that lot. For all the brutality metted out by the various Thatcher governments and sub-governments, Team Blair truly raised the bar for contemptability with their dishonesty, corruption, whitewashing and backstabbing. That'd be bad enough if they held the politics that they claimed to, but up until recently they were instigating policies further to the right and more authoritarian than anything the Conservative party front bench would dream of putting forward.
I'll concede that my seething hatred of Blair and his cronies over Thatcher is in part due to my having lived adult life through his reign and not her's, but the distinctions between the two in ideological and policy terms are so little as to be negligible.

Personally I think Thatcher at least looked us in the face when she was going to make it rough for people. Blair and his government just shuffled it under papers and juggled the figures to appear good.
Regardless of this Thatchers a Monster attitude you can't seriously say that Blair hasn't been just as bad. Actually you can probably seriously say that but I'll completely disagree with you, mainly for what Metallideth has said and were normally on opposite sides of the political fence.

If I'm being completely honest I actually feel very disappointed and rather sick to my stomach that anyone who who's Lived in Scotland could ever have a good word to say about that woman, she was a monster plain and simple, yes as I said Blair is far from perfect, however I'd far rather someone like he was in charge of this country for the rest of my days than have to suffer 1 day under the rule of a murdering cold hearted cow like Thatcher

I suppose I could make some horribly over the top " x is a murderous cow~!!" or " y is ruining the country~!!" type commentary in response to posts that vaguely agree with my own opinions, and try to look like I know what I'm talking about, but honestly I know that even the people I'm agreeing with don't want me coming in and "backing them up" with that kind of garbage patter.
