| Vote '08 - McCain Vs Obama (peripheral discussion) We haven't had a politics poll, so since it's just over a month before election day in the States, who's going to win McCain or Obama? |

| Re: Vote '08 - McCain Vs Obama Since that Palin bint seems to have made a complete arse of it I'm leaning towards Obama, but I've got a funny feeling McCain will still get it

| Re: Vote '08 - McCain Vs Obama McCain is behind Obama in the polls just now, but I think the amount of media coverage that Palin is getting is going to actually help her appeal to voters who might not be attracted to McCain or Obama-Biden.
She's going to be wheeling in the religious right and the gun lobby anyway. Quote:

| Re: Vote '08 - McCain Vs Obama There's a significant chance that McCain wont live long enough to see out a full term. If he dies in office then that fucking nutter Palin will be running the show
I think Obama's hopes rest on enough people realising this.

I think Obama's hopes rest on enough people realising this. | For reference, he is younger now then Reagan was when he stood for his second term. |

| Re: Vote '08 - McCain Vs Obama Someone who believes that dinosaurs roamed the earth with man 6,000 years ago and whose foreign policy experience is that she can see russia from her house should never ever be allowed anywhere near the nuclear launch codes.
If McCain / Palin get in then that is what is likely to happen. Quote:

| Re: Vote '08 - McCain Vs Obama Under current polls it's in the bag for Obama. Almost all swing states are Obama and he only needs two (even the ones with the lowest points, although I may be wrong on that) to win the presidency.
Most neutral commentators are saying that, at the debate tonight, McCain will have to pull something amazing out of the bag or really get nasty in a way Obama can't counter, else he's fucked.
I was pessimistic but I'm starting to believe Obama does have a good chance.

| Re: Vote '08 - McCain Vs Obama i've voted for Obama, but I'm still not 100% sure. I wouldn't trust the polls too much... I remember when all the polls and pundits suggested that Bush would never get into the White House... |

| Re: Vote '08 - McCain Vs Obama Obama'll get it provided he keeps a strong campaign from here onwards. Palin has utterly screwed up her interviews and come across as a complete idiot recently but she's hit back with a lot of charisma to compensate, which has taken some focus off the fact that McCain is a total lunatic. That poll fall for the Republicans will most likely start to reverse again soon.
