I don't think there is any danger that it'll be forgotten.

The charge of the light brigade has a better moral, and people never seem to get the point of the holocaust anyway: Upon achieving victory in a war, its extremely vital not to utterly rape the conquered country, you just ensure that their country is going to end up run by lunatic extremists who you'll have to deal with in the long term.

Thinking about it, is there any other real moral to 'The Holocaust'? Ignorance of concentration camps is no excuse?

I don't know what other morals you could take from it. I think it stands to just show how far things can/could go if it's not dealt with properly.

Im not saying it wasn't one of the most shamefull things of the 20th century

I do however think the world needs to move on and try and correct the wrong that are taking place today.

the figures most widely accepted for the numbers killed in the holocaust seem to me to have broad and disparate enough sources to appear reasonable (coming from both "sides"); I'm not sure I'd find it sensible to agree with anyone offering a figuring varying much outside the ~5.1 - 6M figures that are so often quoted.

I would have thought the number would have been around 3/4 million.
