It's pretty interesting. Second biggest disaster of its kind in history. 150,000+ dead. Utter devastation. Happened in 2008.
And no-one remembers (I didn't either).

Actually amazed at how hard it is to find info on the disaster in question when you don’t remember at least one or two details to search for. Web-based news archives are generally pretty poor, it seems.

Yeah I eventually found it by scrolling through the Wikipedia list of big natural disasters and looking at every one from 2008.
Now I read it I remember more about it.
