According to the BBC, the government's War Book containing details of preparations for "R Hour" (the release of all nuclear weapons to end the Cold War... and everything else on earth) has been published in full:
Anyone got any idea where this has been published and how I can get hold of a copy? I tried Google and the government's home page, but failed to find anything other than links back to these articles.
Maybe its being released in much the same way as the planning department plans were released in The Hitch-hiker's Guide To the Galaxy? Totally available for public reading, as long as you bring your own torch.
If you see a sign saying "Beware of the Leopard", it might be worth investigating...

I’ve had a hunt around online … looks like the documents are held in the National archive at Kew Gardens and you are able to request to view them in person.

At the speed I read English, I don't think they'd be too happy with me if I did! Thanks for looking though, hopefully they'll release it as a download, or even to buy.
