Fuckin' hell. Do any of you regularly watch Question Time? Seriously. Past participants have included Paul Heaton (from The Beautiful South) and Davina McCall.

Anyone expecting Nick Griffin to come across as a Nazi, or anything close, will be sorely disappointed. The worst thing about his inclusion in this show is that he's more likely to attract members for his party than to lose any of the current members. If anyone needs to watch what they say on this show then it is those who oppose Griffin and the BNP. Anyone shouting at Griffin or calling him a Nazi will just give him the ability to play the victim, as he'll most likely remain calm and composed throughout. So anyone who loses their composure, even for a second, runs the risk of looking less rational than Griffin.

Bump, this is tonight. Torn between laughter and tears at the protesters who have apparently never heard of freedom of speech. The News 24 reporters haven't directly accused them of this in their questioning, but it's clear that they're trying to/want to.

I think people are expecting Griffin to come jack-booting onto the stage flanked by 7 foot skinheads with swastikas tattoed on their foreheads screaming obscenities and making racist comments the way the media and the protestors are going on....might be worth a watch to see the disappointed faces when he doesnt.

One of the protestors interviewed by 'PM' on Radio 4 was saying that the BNP shouldn't be allowed on Question Time because there was a "correlation between the BNP appearing on television and racist and homophobic attacks":

1: Correlation is not causation.
2: There are probably sufficient racist and homophobic attacks that one could draw correlations with other events, such as the vernal equinox, postal strikes, and Coronation Street.

I expect record viewing figures. I am right now cooking foreign muck to eat while playing this drinking game.

Not sure if it was the same guy, but I definitely saw someone saying that on News 24, effectively suggesting that this TV appearance would be the start of a Nazi takeover of the country.

The original line up of Skrewdriver wasn't racist, it was only when they reformed (as a new lineup) that they became avid supporters of White Power, it was Ian Donaldson that pushed them in that direction. Just seen him make a comparison between his father and Jack Straw's father "Mine was in the Second World War. Yours was in prison."

Pressed for the relevance of this point, he basically said he was entitled to attack Straw because of how much he'd been attacked during the show.
