    Kaiowas Tribe

    For those of you who don't know, The Kaiowas Tribe lived in the rainforest in Brazil and committed mass suicide in protest of the government who wanted to take their land and have them live in cities.

    Thats about all I know and I'm trying to find out more information but all I get get is sites with Sepultura lyrics on them because Sepultura have a song called Kaiowas... dedicated to the Kaiowas.
    Does anyone know where I can find out more?

    Also, what are your opinions on this?
    On one hand them being dead would hardly stop the government from taking their land, on the other hand maybe it would serve to highlight the injustice and bring it to peoples attention.

    I think the full name of the tribe is Guarani Kaiowa, try searching on that.
