The Future

What is everyone's hopes and ambitions for the future?

Personal goals? Plans? (personally I'd just like to finish me lunch without spewing but hey-ho)

How about on a local or global scale? Do you think the future will be the bright gleaming technology fest and mankind will see in a new dawn of peace?

Or will we always be a war with someone/or will our streets be filled with violence and the planet be like the darkest sci-fi nightmare?

Hopefully one day i will achieve my dream of becoming a singer...im never giving up hope ...
Umm hopefully to go out to africa and work with some villages for a few months or so..
do a bungejump..shark swim..and to jump out of a plane..

but to be totally honest the main goal i want to achieve is to get married and have kids and a good job and be content .

That's a very noble and gentle life - very altruistic, I hope it happens for you. I mean, I think you're mad ( ) but respect is due!!!

umm well ive recorded a song...and hopefully next year go in for X-Factor( i would obviously rather not be manufactured- but i just want the opportunity to publicise(dont know if thats the right word) my voice.

Whom would you say you sing like? Is it your own song you're recording? Why d'you wanna be a singer? Loadsa questions!!!!

Aye, and dunno bout X-factor, you're right that it would be good for exposure but wouldn't listen to them if they say bad things, or anyone else for that matter!!!

Umm well to be honest im really good at big songs (without sounding big headed) like ballads...it isnt necasarilly my favourite type of music ..but thats what my voice suits .
I dont think i sing like anyone..i'll sing someones song but make it my own...i like to do christina aguilera songs

Umm yea well it was me and one of my best m8s who wrote it and got it recorded..
Umm because singing is my passion ..seriously if i couldnt sing i wouldnt be who i am..

Yeh..see the thing is anything that the judges said to me good or bad id take on board but it would make me stop singing if they said i was shit..

I'm gonna go for a vague "long and fruitful career in the music industry".

That is at the moment focused on, but not limited to, playing with Dante's Dogs. My dream would be to be held in high regard as a musician (in a creative sense - rather than technical) and a songwriter.


SoYeahThisIsMe - you should start spreading your voice around the place. I'm sure there are hundreds of bands close to you looking for some sassy female vocals - not least aspiring young songwriters! And if there's anything that's going to improve you vocal technique and develop your style it's surely performing live!

well i sing alot in school so im kinda used to the stage..so
and we get some vocal (very litttle) but some in school

Oh my god - so if one of them "judges" told you that you were shit - you'd give up whom you are for their opinion?!?! That's just tragic - NEVER let anyone have that kind of power over you - everything is just opinion, and if I ever met any of those judges I'd spit at them as they are simply so stupid and unworthy of the position the media has moved them to. Sorry bout the diatribe there, but that side of T.V really gets me y'know?

Haha that was my mistake it was meant to say i wouldnt give up singing..HELL NO..no one could ever make me stop i know im good so if i believe in me i will make it..

Nah i want to be a singer...i wouldnt mind being famous but its not what im intersted in...writing and composing and recording music is what i want to do,...and perform of course.
