That's a bit rubbish, isn't it? Instead of going "I've just stopped the booze for a bit, just to see if I can/see if I like it/whatever, anyone else considered it? Anyone else currently not drinking?", you started preaching about the evils of alcohol in order to get a reaction; "Everyone should join me", "your body quite rightly, shits it all out", "You're[sic] most likely an arsehole when you are drunk" and so on.

Look - it's not my attention to cause offence - everyone else bar you, understood the thread and replied in the spirit it was intended - a place to debate. Yes, I could have started it any way I chose, I chose a possibly misguided moralistic ground for quitting drinking - When I said "You're most likely an arsehole.....and the rest it wasn't personally aimed at anyone or meant seriously, I mean come on - starting debate or existing on a forum is not seeking attention - then you'd be after attention yourself by registering surely.......?

No, no, the point was simply that attempting to start debate by adopting a militant stance (which you've now admitted you don't believe in.) and calling people arseholes isn't an intelligent or constructive way to start debate.

I'm glad that alchohol brings out the marriage potential in you Dec, I wouldn't comment as to your drunken adorability but you seem cheery in the photie! Booze just makes me sleepy or aggressive, well, more aggresive than normal if that's possible.
