| Sober Club Okay folks - I've quit drinking.
Everyone should join me at least for a while just to see what it's like to be sober.
Reasons why YOU should quit drinking:-
1. It costs so much money, for something that lasts for so short a time and your body quite rightly, shits it all out.
2. You're most likely an arsehole when you are drunk - either no-ones told you or your friends are as drunk, but even the loveliest most fluffy pink of the proprieties turns nasty after one too-many shandys.
3. You're memory is fucked.
4. You're younger than you look.
5. Say goodbye to hangovers and Immodium plus, baby! |

You’re out, matey. Back on the booze for you.

Doesn't mean I haven't been an arsehole though.

See - another crap thing about being drunk, inhibitions get a little lost and people end up being unreasonable and can also raise their volume without knowing, and get fixed on a point and argue it until they 'win'. | Re: Sober Club Funny, I can always remember just about as much drunk as sober. And I'm also never an arsehole, I'm a happy cant stop dancing drunk. So irritating, yes. Arsehole, no.
I've gone through several phases of considering this, but ultimately I like the stuff and I like not being so tightly wound.
So not a chance in hell for this one. I also agree with poprock and Andrew TheCastrator.

| Re: Sober Club I did a 6 month spell without drinking at all, which was due to medication mostly. After about 3-4 weeks you sort of stop even wanting a pint and start to realise what utter fannies most people are while drunk. Then at about week 6-7 you start to feel like a fanny yourself for being so high and mighty. Around week 8 or 9 other people will start to comment on what a fanny you are for being so high and mighty. After that it's plain sailing really. Frankly I'm not sure it was worth the bother, the money I saved from booze was promptly spent on video games and gadgets.
