I'm with you on the knack! We tried things like The Foo Fighters/ RATM/ Pearl Jam a long time ago and to be honest it's not our sound and doesn't fit with what we do.

The newest stuff we do is a couple of green Day songs, and they're hit or miss at best!

We get asked to do original material all the time, i don;t think it'd work very well though. The band is something we do for self indulgence and i think it's cause us all to lose interest a bit if there was songwriting to contend with! The challenge comes from taking songs and putting a slant on them. We all do various original things from time to time, but I think we'd kill each other if we went down that route
