| Kreepy Kat lettering What do you think - should I invest in a slick looking comic font to letter the Kreepy strips, or stick with my ramshackle hand-lettering?
Personally I prefer the character of handwritten speech balloons, but quite a few webcomic afficionados/geeks have suggested using a digital font instead.
Blah blah bored. |

Fake handwriting has no soul.

| Re: Kreepy Kat lettering Nah, it’s pointless creating a ‘handwriting’ typeface. Just write by hand instead. Why try to fake it? So that every time you type an ‘e’ it looks the same? That just leads to words with repeated letterforms like ‘coffee’ looking fucking stupid.

But you should really just go with you want. |

| Re: Kreepy Kat lettering Looks like there's enough variety in your lettering that choosing a font would stifle the expression somewhat: in strips like the "Hello pussy cat, my name's Daisy" it'd be a nightmare to achieve anything approaching the look of the text in the second panel (or indeed the third).
It looks good as it is to me.

It did occurr to me (that's why I didn't include the last frame or the characters who are speaking!) I'll remove it if ya like but I couldn't link directly to it on your site and I didn't want to make what would be a much less meaningful comment without visual support.
