Yeah that plus Staresy contacted them about the name years ago and they were cool with it. In fact as I recall they wanted us to play a gig with them and have a double Dionysus night!

NOOOO Slash isn't very overrated really, I mean he really did have a unique and excellent style
For a thrash guitarist I'd say Kirk Hammett is pretty overstated, just because Metallica are more commercial and the guitar playing in most commercial music isn't as accomplished as Metallicas, but in extreme metal etc. it's commonplace | |

In all fairness to Kirk Hammett he was a fuckin brilliant lead guitarist and no-one can take that away from him. Unfortunately Metallica turned into a bunch of lazy shites chucking out crap like St Anger. If they actually bothered to practice their old stuff then they would be fuckin amazing!
