Disko Bloodbath was just what the tired and stale gay scene in Edinburgh needed. Where was there to go before Bloodbath's creation if the Divas on your stereo were Courtney, Bowie and Shirley rather than Kylie, Britney and Madonna?
Bloodbath exploded in a blaze of power chords, XXX projections and sleazy electro beats on Aug 4th. The venue was filled to capacity and many had to be turned away. The atmosphere was electric all night (helped along by the crazy drink promotions) and many had dressed to excess, inspired by the Party Monster influence.
The madness continued on Sep 1st with another packed venue, but we've saved something rather special for our Oct 6th date. DJs T-Lady Trash and The Real Joan Collins from hot London club club Skrew are playing a fierce mix of electroclash and punk (alongside the resident DJ's on rotatation with their continuous blend of all things electro, indie, punk and rock).
Planet Out hosting the pre-club party. Those UnPoliticallyCorrect badges will be back - free to those that get there quick enough. Stella and Vodka will be on promotion.
