In about two weeks time or so I'm going into the studio with the Nails of Christ to record my first Ep with them. Nails of Christ have already recorded about 3 or so Ep's before I joined but through bass players quitting and sound enginear's being shit none of them have really been useable. Compared to the first ep done about two years ago this is a totally different band. Me replacing Lee (i think thats his name, they never really call him by his real name, they never really call anyone by their real names if they dont like them) and Dave and Ryan replacing Craig on vocals.
The Ep is going to be the first of two parts, the first Ep will be most the old songs and the second Ep that will be recorded in 6 weeks time will be most the new songs. As far as I know we dont have a label putting it out for us so it will be sold at live shows, on the internet and in small record shops.
The Ramones style militance in the last few practices promises for this Ep to be tight as fuck with no room for compramises on reflecting our blisteringly intense live shows.
In all honesty, I dont care if no-one buys or even likes it, I just hope that I get the same buzz of listening to it as I do from Conflict, F-minus or Bad Brains. Success in the cormercial or monetory sense in music doesn't mean a thing to me anymore. It would be nice if we sold enough copies to buy a round of beer at a gig but I'd much rather just have a record that makes me smile.
Anyone want me to send them a copy once its done? send me an email at
