Its shite how it can be an Italy vs Holland semi final. They've fucked messed it up. But I suppose they want the final to be a game that hasn't already been played in the group stages so I can see the sense. But surely there can be another way?

So happy the french are out, bye bye Domenech!!
I don't think the Italians have been that lucky so far, they've had decisions for and against them and Toni has missed countless sitters! I do think they have played better overall than France and Romania but I don't think they'll win it. They're playing like a shadow of the team that won the world cup and they'll struggle without Pirlo and Gattuso in the next round. Think Holland have got to be favourites now but it would be interesting to see them having to chase a game.

wait a min incubusgirl how are they missing pirlo? he just got subbed as far as i seen. holland and portugal would be good too lol it's funny cause they way holland are playing everyone expects them to reach the final but that's almost asking for an upset. thank god greece are out we don't need more bad luck. i would like croatia to reach the final because they are mad for playing for the shirt and that's always a good thing so yeah sweden and croatia in the final that's my fantasy final

Pirlo misses the quarter final, as does Gattuso. Both picked up 2 yellow cards in the group stages.

serves you right for watching dodgems! football is where it's at and i was thinking yeah trust the italians to come out with a good anthem with their history of composers they basi. i'm not taking the piss because we've got good culture but music isn't our strongpoint when they've got vivaldi, puccini on the subs bench  can't mind who their best is

I think a Croatia/Holland final is a good bet.
