Advantage: Portugal - German coach given touchline ban.

Having already fancied Portugal to do the business against the Germans Germany, this has further backed my thinking. With no manager on the touchline the Germany team have a further disadvantage (as well as, you know, being shit. Shit defence, shit goalkeeper and no left midfielder with a striker playing there).

Come on, Portugal, if you get to the last 4 Uncle Stew is getting a new pair of shoes.

Depends on the manager, and how good they are at setting up the team to begin with. It's not the fact they're not on the touchline so much as the fact they ain't allowed in the dressing room at half time.

As an aside, if I was a manager with a touchline ban, I'd get a seat in the stand - front row, beside the dugout - and show up with a megaphone.

I still fancy the German's. Great mentality. Don't think the ban matters much, Lowe will just get a headset or something. Pathetic he got banned btw, it really was a minor bust-up in the other game.

And for some reason I really don't much go for the Portuguese, maybe something to do with them having fuck all good strikers in the team.

Scolari is worried about the height advantage the Germans have got. Average height of 6'1 while Portugal's height average is 5'9. Could make a small difference at set pieces and etc. But i'm sure he's just doing the old mind games.

Especially considering the German defence sucks balls, and Lehman is fucking useless most of the time. Add on top how fucking awesome Cronaldo is in the air from set plays and it's the German's who need to watch out when defending.

Nice attempt at mind-games to deflect attention from Germanys deficiencies, but anyone who has one half-decent eye can see it's bullshit.
