I know 3 do this small pay as you go wireless modem that allows you to connect up to 5 devices at a time... same kind of idea as the usb sticks.

http://threestore.three.co.uk/payg/d...rcode=DSLPP499

I've heard some people say the coverage isnt always the greatest on the move using the dongles so would think it could be a similar problem with this device.

Found another place that installs full systems in your vehicle but that includes touch screens/basically their gear. I just want a wireless access point in the vehicle that people can connect to via their laptops!

A friend of mine recently got me to reinstall XP on a laptop they got at their old work. Despite the fact they left the job 3 years ago they're pretty paranoid about putting the laptop online in case the old employer has some way of tracing it. It has a whole new copy of XP on it, so the key for that is different, but is there anyway it could be traced through anything else? I told them that it's pretty unlikely the employer would be that fussed since they've been out of the job 3 years now and the laptop is pretty low spec (512mb RAM, 30gb HD) compared to the ones you can buy relatively cheap these days.

Are they being overly paranoid or is it actually possible to find the laptop - if anyone's even looking for it after 3 years of not even asking if they had it? The only disc that came with the laptop which has gone anywhere near it since the reinstall is the one full of the drivers.

Cheers.
