Seeking a bit of advice from cat owners and vet (s) of the forum. I'm planning on taking my cat back home for Christmas with me, rather than have him left on his own for over 2 weeks (someone can feed him, but I think the lack of company is a wee shame.)
My boyfriends mum deems what I want to do as cruel. Just seeking advice on which option is the lesser of two evils then?
I personally think it'll be fine due to the personality of my cat, he's fairly laid back, he adjusted to my home quickly without any problem at all (no spraying, yowling, hissing or pooping in bizarre places, no signs of stress) He'll be with me and my parents whom he's used to, all his stuff (bed, blankets etc) and he'll be travelling in the car (just less than 4 hour journey) with me. He's also an INDOOR cat, so there's no chance of him getting lost or out of the house. It's just adjustment issues I'm thinking of here.

Sorry for the ramble, I just don't want to cause any unnecessary suffering obviously. Just seeking similar stories, advice etc. Cheers!

I am currently owned by a black Bullmastiff who goes by the name of Samson... Well that's his name but he choses to totally ignore it! He WILL answer to.... Shit head for some strange reason!!

The other mutt is a Dogue de Bordeaux.... His name is Ikki. He was named after the guy character in the 51st State played by Rhys Ifans and it suits him.

The Bordeaux is the hardest work.... I think he has ADHD or summit like that. But they are tons of fun.

Trying to talk my O/H round for a corn snake.... He's slowly coming round!!!

Cute ginger tabby kitten about 5-6 weeks old. Boyfreind found the poor wee thing abandoned in the street. He's kept it for about 2 weeks just to feed it up and make sure it looks healthy enough. Unfortunately he cant keep it as 2 cats in the house already, i have 2 as well.. plus they are expensive.
It will need its first jabs in a few weeks, and neutered as well. I think its a boy (not good at sexing them). Its eyes, ears and nose are all clear and its very active/ healthy looking. Very mischeavous also. Its litter trained and still on kitten food.
I want to keep it but i think my cats would eat it. Anyone looking to get one get in touch.
