I think it's quite cool that both halves of the tongue can be moved independently. For something so extreme and completely irreversible I'd say it was a decision not to be taken lightly.

i've been tempted to do it for years now. and always stopped myself. unless i ever get a job in a piercing/tattoo studio its just not on the cards.

as far as oral goes i belive it makes a good man better but a rubbish bloke is till rubbish.

and as for pain, the centre of your tounge is not muscle, it's joining tissue ( your tounge is 2 seperate muscles, hence why you can move them idenpendantly) so it causes very little pain and heals very quicly. speach issues are almost non-existant past those that a tounge piercing would give.


and Les, it's not quite irevesable. there was one guy in the US army or navy, who was forced to get it reversed by military doctors, ill see if i can find the article

My friend is planning to get this. Im not into it, but its interesting.

there was some dude in bizzarre mag who got it done, he also got his teath sharpend into points and got implants on his head which looked like horns,

I really, really, really, really want this. To the extent I was pilled out my nut with a switchblade on my own once weighing up the pros and cons of such an action. Decided not too as if I passed out no-one was there to stop me choking on my own blood.
