| Re: Bone fasteners Did you not read my initial post? My main problem was the risk of bone infection and how devestating that can be. I am not by any means saying it's impossible, but if a self-confessed educated person was to try it despite the risks I would see it as irresponsible and utterly utterly stupid. Ignorance is not an excuse, either, as if someone were to try such an invasive procedure it would be expected that they would look into every possible outcome of said procedure.
I have at no point passed judgement on your lifestyle, unlike many people in this thread. I have been a member of BME since I was 16 and have seen PLENTY of pretty drastic things people have done to themselves. I have however pointed out numerous medical indications that would make this procedure utterly unfeasable. |

I don't think rough sex is comparable either. | Fair enough. Like I said, just wondering. .. |

| Re: Bone fasteners hey! what you are talking about is called osseointegration. the holes would need to be screwed in and left to bed. it needs to be titanium as bone seems to fuse pretty nicely to it. it would need to be put in, left for about 6 months then slowly but surely you could begin to add weight for a short period of time gradually building up. the only problems you face are, that no orthopaedic surgeon would/ could do it, the plugs would all need to be custom made to surgical standard, and the area that you want to use is not big enough to support the pony tail attachment, or the chastity plate. I have worked with and studdied in great detail osseointegration for amputees you see, and as bikuki says osseomyelitis ( massive bone infection) is a big concern, where the only option would be to remove the section of bone and an area of healthy bone surrounding it.
basically, nice fantasy, but not one that would work out in reality.

The dangers of it again I'd guess they were extremely high due to it being bone surgery but still the response till my post were just mocking I'm glad to see others came along and pointed out the real dangers rather than just laugh. Telling someone not to put there hand in a fire works better than pointing and laughing as someone puts there hand in a fire I find.

| Re: Bone fasteners I think everyone's missing the point here...
Namely, if you can screw metal into your bones, why the fuck wasn't I informed, and where do I go to get my Wolverine claws done?
