Implants, nasty or nice???

The way forward for body modification now is
- Implants
(body jewellery inserted under the skin to leave the impression of the jewellery sticking threw it)

-Scarification
(Deliberate images made in the skin by a scalpel or for posh establishments lasers, but if u ask me some people go threw self harming which is similar but pointless )

-Branding
(Images burnt onto the skin with a red hot brander to leave a burnt scar of the image)

I've seen good and more often than not extremely bad examples of all 3 of these, there is a guy some of you may have seen with implanted plate in his head so he can screw on metal spikes in a mohican it looks fucking awesome....

What are your opinions????

indeed. but a lot of people are disgusted with any 3 of the above... depends what sort of person you are really. I get people being disgusted by my smiley peircing (litle flap of skin above your front teeth).

I like implants, depends on what design really. I like the wee ball implants in some sort of spiral design from the wrist up the arm.

Also i have been looking at scarification for a good few months.

If you have nice designs etc then i think they can look really pretty.

Only if there done well aswell. You could have a really nice design to be implanted, scarred whatever, but the person doin it could so easily fuck it up, then your left with a nasty nasty scar that you'll probably grow to hate. Then again it could be done really well and look stunning...

i think implants can look pretty cool.... but it depends where and what. My sis is wanting her bf to get two horns implanted in his head, hehe, that wud look mad (he's got a shaved head). Not keen on branding tho, i reckon if ur gonna mark urself, do it right n' get a tat but jus wot i think.

That would actually be the daftest looking thing I'd have ever seen

Gotta say im generally against piercings in the more 'unusual' places, mostly because almost all examples I see are done it tacky taste and will probably be regretted in a few years time. But agreed with Shannow, in theory ANY piercing could be cool if done properly and on the right person.....

You could say that about tattoos and piercings also. I really don't go in for implants though.

Implants aren't really my cup o' tea. At least with piercings, you aren't gonna be left with a scar, or at least not a big scar. Removing implants and stuff is bound to make a mess.

Branding is horrible!! Poor cows I would never get that done, never! You'd probably have to go to the burns unit!

implants - fuckin horrible

scarification - not so bad, not ma cuppa tea, ( i think its a psychological thing, i's hate to know someone scarred my body).

branding - hate to be compared to a farm animal ( tho tats are pretty similar there can be soo much more detail and looks very nice. and again, hate to know someone burned me).
