Setting up Bindings on a snowboard

So... after much ebay action, I finally have snowboard of the right size, and bindings (flow bindings, noless!). And i've no idea how to put them on - how do I decide which is the right way, etc? And the angle? I go left foot forward...

Re: Setting up Bindings on a snowboard

best starting with your left foot at about 18 degrees. Have your right foot about 10 degrees. Stand on it and see how it feels

Re: Setting up Bindings on a snowboard

your left foot should point more towards the tip of the board, where your left foot should be pointing a bit more forward.

The screwplate should have degrees on them?

Yeah, does. Wasn't sure if you meant to change the angle inwards or out.

Yup, pretty much trial and error. When I used to set them up in snowboard hire that's about the angles I would have used, give of take. But that was with folk who had boarded very little and hadn't sussed out what's comfortable for them

Re: Setting up Bindings on a snowboard

usuallu the graphics on a board should be behind your trailing foot so the setup should look like this......

Re: Setting up Bindings on a snowboard

Heh, thanking you all kindly. Now I just need to test them. LOVE the ease - feels very comfortable. Think i've about the right amount of lean forward in them.

Lovelove.

Re: Setting up Bindings on a snowboard

looks pretty good to me. It will probably take you a bit of time to get it right. Try out a few combinations until you get one that feels perfect
