Mountainbikes, what you got?

Me, I'm a bit of a trail xc type so via lots and lots (about 30 bikes in the last 10 years) have acquired a couple of Cannondales, as you do.

First up would be my second bike, Cannondale F2000SL, mostly XT kit with XTR mechs and XT discs. Used mostly for hacking about and my long commuting.

The main bike is a 2006 Cannondale Prophet. Pikes up front, a fox rear shock, hope discs and wheels with mostly XTR drivetrain (XT chainset though, XTR's are stupid)

(Please excuse the crudguard and the extra stem spacers)

What's your ride?

Re: Mountainbikes, what you got?

I used to race downhill...not done it really in a loooong time but i still have my bike:

Coyote DH2, Stratos MX6 forks, Hope DH4 pot rear, 2 pot front, Sun Mammoths on Hope Bulb hubs and a mish mash of components from other bikes (including a thumb shifter i pinched of a bike i had when i was 5)

Picture of me riding said Coyote:

Also ride an occassional bit of BMX on my Hoffman Dirty 130 with Odysey GI Forks and various bits and pieces.

Cannae really see my BMX :

Re: Mountainbikes, what you got?

Haha i know, it was an experiment...it didn't work out well at all.
Handling is quite nasty when you pair a 20" rear wheel with a 26" front.
