Power Kites

Anyone ever done this?

I've been flying powerkites since I was a nipper, but just recentley moved up to a 4 line kite to get more into the extreme side of things. Ayr beech is probably the best place (kinda) locally. Just wondered if anyone else was into it? or even tried it?

I have a 5 meter, 4-line Flexifoil kite. I use it mainly for boarding but I sometime just fly it on it's own.

Good fun but I almost lost 4 fingers once!

I only have a 3m atm, havn't had much experiance with 4line so wanted to start small, think about maybe a 5-7m next.

Where abouts do you go flying? recommened anywhere closer than Ayr?

I used to fly at the park up the road from my house, but I live in Oxford now so can't suggest anywhere near you I'm afraid
