my mate tags and i was wonderin how this whole supposed crackdown thing is gonna affect people goin' out to tag, if at all. any thoughts?

i would assume they will be trying to cut down on people writing on stuff. so they'll be tougher on people doing it, except in places like skateparks where its at least artish, and not

The thing is, no matter how hard they try to crackdown on taggin and writers in general, they will still do it.

I think taking the legal walls away in Glasgow, was a bit stupid. If they have no where legal to paint, then writers are going to start painting on alot of illegal walls. I know they did that anway, but taking away legal spots will make it worse.

The only bad thing about Glasgow, is that there are more taggers than writers

i agree far too many taggers out there... we need more writerz and ppl that will go out at like all hours of the day and night and jus write.... doesnt matter if ur a toy its the whole fact of writing!

they should have a proper crackdown on 'taggin' and graffitti by breaking all their fingers on the spot.

and anyway, out of the thousands of walls that i've seen 'tagged' or whatever the fuck there are probably not even a handful of them that made me not think "fannies", let alone thinking its decent art.

I think there are some good writers in the glasgow area, and have liked quite alot of what I have seen.

I also think legal wall's are a good idea, and think they should be brought back.

I do not think it is all about the buzz from doing something illegal, I think most of the writers I have talked to did it because it was a form of art that they enjoyed doing

exactly, its not the thrill of doing something illegal, if that was the case people would get bored after a while because the risk doesnt seem to be there anymore and they get complacent.
