| Skate Spots In Glasgow hey ppl if ne 1 in or around glasgow wants to post there fav spots then go ahead and tell us a lil about em.
calton health centre car park, kerbs, a lil wall to ollie with a drop after it a couple of gaps if u can bring or find some wood lyin about then thers a pretty good bank. theres also a double set and teh front door but watch out for teh security guy, across teh road theres a pretty cool manual pad aswell.
church in teh barras, srry about teh shit location but all i kno wis its a church in teh barras, its near larrys laminate land and its got laodsa stairs ranging from 2 to 7sets. theres also some low walls and rails for grinding, u might need a sign or something for teh run out of teh rails cause theres a lil sewage thing.
ST.Thomas' primary school riddrie, this place is pretty sweet for beginners and ppl who liek stair gaps. tehy range from 2-4sets smooth ground and theres a lil kerb for grindin, already waxed up. if u can get ur hands on some wood then theres also loadsa room for some make shift ramps, watch out for the neds that cut through sometimes , most dont bother u but u get teh occasional gang of asshoels that wanna start some shit.
oh btw have ne 1 from east kilbride ever tried skatin at heighrmires hospital that place has loadsa smooth cemement benches taht are total birgins to wax, i was only passin through but terhe was prob some pretty sweet gaps there aswell, someone let me know. |

| hey dude, st enoch is an uber good spot, the marble ledges are rockin it especially for inline. if its raining their staff carpark is good as well but if security catch u then your ass is gone. there are also good stair sets from 4's to 8's
in the buisness district beside the bt building. there is a sort of gardeny kinda of place in the middle of 3 buildings. its a bugger to find the first time but once there its worth it. its got knee height marble benches and waist height marble ledges, all waxed and uber fast. it also has nice stair sets, i think they r 6's with handrails. security once again are the only problem.
cali uni is all ghetto lots of uber waxed benches( good for skate boards and inline). there are some big stair sets and if you are really confident there r some rails as well, but these are uber beast rails!
strathclyde uni library is pretty good for begginers, some low ledges, a 5 stair set, a high rail. no hassle from neds or security. |

| There is also the car park at Kwik-Save in the Gorbals, a few local kids have set up a series of small ramps to learn on, probably not much good if you are really into it, but a nice place to learn.
And chomponthis, there is nothing wrong with spelling words correctly, or at least attempting to, it makes things much easier to read. It also creates a better impression, if you communicate in a way people can easily relate to, they are more likely to respond in a positive manner. It has nothing to do with not having a life, or being sad, its simply a decent social convention.
And, although some people on here can be complete idiots, don't take insults to heart, if they post something inappropriate, report them, thats what the button is there for. Anyway, welcome to the forum. Are you at Uni or School? The strathclyde uni extreme sports club travel to skate parks most weeks, so if you are ever free on a wednesday afternoon, im sure you'd be welcome to unofficially tag along if you met the guys. They tend to head to Perth, but occasionally meet in Glasgow, around the city centre.
xxxx
