really obv bit of advice, get cromoly not steel, the bottom of the range one's tend to be steel, but it is way worth spending a little bit more to get something you can actually do stuff with. Best bet is to go to west end and have a shot on stuff and ask them for advice.
oh, and as always; get a we the people, they look lovely

i got it because i could get nirve at trade, and i couldnt get wethepeople so i gotta better bike for my muni that way. oh oh totally off topic but... only a few more weeks til i get a real bike. well frame at least, cant afford owt else

I've got a 1997-98 Mongoose Villian that i'm looking to sell. Cromoly frame, oversized rear axle, GT tyres, Gyro, full set of pegs and some nifty stickers. Its a good beginners bike - i'll be selling it for about £90 - 100 (cost me £275 new) and its in good nick!
