So it has been a while since I been on here. I am skint and bored so out of curiosity. Any girls skate? Anyone know any girls that skate? Anyone have any opinions about girls skating?

I skate, I am a bit shite but I do love it. Only know one other girl who's into it and it would be cool if some more take it up.

Oh aye, Kelvingrove is awesome, it sure took them long enough.

Sorry, I skateboard. I used to go blading a lot when i was younger, went up to Livvi every Saturday but I think i just got bored of it. Did just put new bearings and wheels in my old skates though, amn't quite sure why.

yeah. girls that skate are definately cool.
im not too sure about kelvingrove park though.
sure, its a good thing, but i dont think its well thought out at all.
nothing really flows. coulda been so much better

I think they did okay with the space they had available. With one skatepark in the city you know every kid that skate is gonna be down there when the weathers good. If there was a load of great lines to skate then folk would be coming out from all directions and it would just be chaos. The way it is suits the location, keeps things separate.

But yea, if they ever build us a nice big new park, they could make it flow a lil better.

Yea, I can't wait. Gotta get my skating sorted though. Just fear gets in the way of trying things.

You ever go to Dumbarton? I heard it's pretty good up there and I need someplace else to skate when the weather is bad, which it generally always is.

yeah infact i was there today. dont go too often though.
its good in moderation.
more of a bmx park to be honest but its noice when the weathers like this.
only thing is its quite expensive if youre not gonna use it alot because you have to
become a member which is £20 then two hour sessions are £5 (and £1 for each hour
after that). if youre using it a bit then the membership aint too bad i suppose.

Im a big fan of KG, i thnk theyve doen an amazing job. Theres only a few wee bits that piss me off. But dumbarton is the best park ive eva been 2. Theres jus sooooo much to do (for very1. blade,board,bmx) and its only £8 for 3hrs jus now so ive been goin alot during the crappy weather.

Been out on my board a bit near my flat. Still learning tho but can carve and ride it most places but the trick side of it im not avin much luck. Jus duno how 2 do it

i like dumbarton but £8 (plus your trian fare) is still a lot of cash money

hmmm...outside is less costly. and its been nice and dry for the last few days.
infact i stopped at livi the other day...ok so it was only for 5 mins before i kept moving to
get throght to edinburgh but still. memories
